Sara-Lynne Simpson Joins E3 Staff


E3 is pleased to announce the appointment of Sara-Lynne Simpson as an Expert Trainer working on the Teaching and Learning Collaborative with the E3 Oregon Small Schools Initiative

As an educator, Sara-Lynne has been professionally focused on improving teaching and learning for thirty years.  She has served in many roles across the country, including education consultant, professional development director, University faculty member in Education and Arts departments, teacher for pre-K through graduate students, program administrator, facilitator, presenter, project/grant leader and guest artist in residence.

Recently, Sara-Lynne directed the State of California’s professional development program for kindergarten through University teachers in the four East Bay Area counties, with a focus on arts integration, high quality collaborative instruction, authentic assessment and action research.  She served more than two thousand working teachers annually, with year-long Institutes, summer Intensives, site-based programs and special arts education events. 

Sara-Lynne has a strong commitment to multiple perspectives providing the strongest collaborative leadership in education, particularly in the efforts to reform inequitable systems.  As an artist, Sara-Lynne has presented choreography on both coasts in the dance, theatre and opera genres.  She has her M.F.A. in Dance Choreography from Mills College.
